1. Property Information
This apartment is one of three at Lindesnes Lighthouse, historically used by lighthouse keepers and their families. It is located in the residential building closest to the lighthouse and was inhabited by one of the “lighthouse keeper families” until the 1970s. The apartment offers a stunning view directly south toward the open sea.
The apartment has two floors:
- First floor: Kitchen, dining room, and TV lounge with a double sofa bed
- Second floor: One bedroom with four beds and a large bathroom
There is electric heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and a small wood-burning stove in the living room. The apartment will be partially heated upon arrival.
It includes a dishwasher and is otherwise simply equipped.
Remember to bring your own bed linen and towels.
Pets are not allowed in the apartment.
2. Booking
- Guests book their stay via our website.
- Arrival and departure dates are selected by the guest on the booking page.
- Cancellation insurance can be purchased during booking.
- Final cleaning is mandatory and included in the booking (NOK 950).
- Business and invoice customers may contact post@lindesnesfyr.no to book.
- Bookings are handled in writing only, not by phone.
3. Cancellation
- The stay is non-refundable unless cancellation insurance has been purchased.
- Cancellation insurance (NOK 300) allows cancellation up to 3 days before arrival.
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing to post@lindesnesfyr.no
4. Payment
- The stay must be prepaid by card via our website.
- During booking, the guest must indicate whether payment has been made:
- “No” – The guest will be prompted to pay by card on the website.
- “Yes” – Reserved for business/invoice customers with a prior agreement.
- If “Yes” is selected, we reserve the right to verify payment before confirming the booking. If payment is not received, the stay will be considered canceled without refund, and keys will not be issued.
5. Changes to Booking
- Guests may contact post@lindesnesfyr.no to change dates.
- Changes are handled in writing only, not by phone.
- Guests may extend their stay, but not shorten it unless cancellation insurance has been purchased.
- Extensions can be made via the website or by email request.
6. Compensation Policy
- If the guest discovers faults or deficiencies in the apartment, this must be reported to the lighthouse keeper at +47 902 07 810 within 24 hours of arrival.
- Failure to report within a reasonable time forfeits the right to compensation.

8. Arrival/Departure
- Keys to the gate and apartment are collected and returned to the lighthouse keeper.
- The apartment is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival.
- Guests must vacate the apartment by 12:00 on the day of departure.

· Prices for each season are shown automatically when the guest makes a booking.

10. Additional Information
- The area around the lighthouse offers several marked hiking trails in a mountain-like landscape.
- There are also fishing opportunities in the sea.
- Admission to the lighthouse museum is included in the rental.
- Keys to the gate and apartment are collected from and returned to the lighthouse keeper.
- Cars are parked inside the lighthouse area as directed.
